Man desires to have more knowledge
in his quest of unknowns
seeking answers for his questions
leaving no unturned stones

in the natural state he lives
new knowledge helps his cause
working within forces that be
in all of nature’s laws

but there is a greater knowledge
it’s spiritually discerned
as to the governing of souls
these spiritual laws are learned

for the fear of God is knowledge
He is the source divine
Who unlocks the doors of wisdom
where man improves his mind

to the saving knowledge there be
that shall keep one in truth
fearing God for His own teaching
showing man what to do

but fools despise wisdom from God
instruction they seek not
they’re happy with their own knowledge
the natural mind they’ve got

complete is the person in God
who has the knowledge stored
in both spiritual and natural
with a soul that’s restored
